Sarenthia

The desert that devours…and reveals.

Sarenthia is a vast desert nation that stretches across the southern region below Arcadia and Sylvanath in a sweep of red dunes, glassy wastes, and canyon-choked trade routes where oases decide who lives and who wanders. Its migratory capital, Kharid, moves with the seasons, and its people; Sarans, master sand, wind, and scarcity with speed, craft, and grit. 

The Nature of Sarenthia

The Red Sands birth ferocious storms; the Glass Desert gleams with knife-bright shards and burrowing predators; ancient ruins and crystal caverns lie buried beneath shifting seas of grit. Sand sailing skims caravans across the dunes on ski-rigged vessels, racing time, weather, and the creatures that swim the sand.

Society and Rule

An aristocracy led by the Crystal Tribe rules Sarenthia, monopolizing crystal mining and trade; at its apex stands Queen Zahra of the House of the Shimmering Sands; pragmatic, ruthless, and absolute in steering migrations and resource policy. Wealth pools with the elite while miners and laborers strain under peril and scarcity. 

Mysteries and Threats

Rumors churn like storm-sand: a Lost City beneath the dunes; Water Wars over oases; a Sandstorm Cult that summons the sky; a curse in the crystal mines; a Forbidden Oasis that appears to the dying. Bandits of the Sardak Raiders strike and vanish; Sand Striders read wind and dune with uncanny tools; the Oasis Guild seeds life with engineered moss.


Meanwhile, crystal caves and obsidian sphinxes guard trapped temples, and the desert’s denizens: Scorpion Drakes, Dune Whales, Mirage Serpents, Sand Behemoths, and Sand Spiders, make every passage a wager!
